Over the holidays, Ryan spoke with Tuolumne County’s Public Health Officer, Dr. Kimberly Freeman. Before COVID hit, many might not have known the important role public health plays in our community. Dr. Freeman explains how the department investigates disease and other health concerns. Tuolumne County has been particularly hard-hit by the Opioid epidemic. The statistics are grim, but there is help for those addicted and their caregivers.
